Whereas, Scottsdale’s values are now less than half of what they were at the peak of 2006, Tucson Foothills real estate went down approximately 25%. The Foothills area of Tucson enjoys better views, a more moderate climate and cleaner air than rival Scottsdale. So if you are exploring the housing market in Scottsdale, check out Tucson, as well.
