Ventana Reserve Short Sale Makes it to Closing

forec.jpgNot all short sales make it all the way to a successful closing, but this one did! 6033 N Indian Trail sold today for 800K; it was purchased in the Spring of 2006 for $1,054,679. This semi-custom, Sterling- built home has over 4,300 square feet and is located on an acre. Several real estate agents purchased in this very small ungated community located off Sunrise Drive near where it intersects into Sabino Canyon Drive. The timing was poor and selling homes around 1 million that are not custom was probably not such a hot idea. However, the location at the base of the Catalina Foothills, where more than a few lots together was almost impossible find at the time, made this builder make the gamble—it took several years to sell less than 17 homes.  Although it took 8 months to sell this home as a short sale, the sale may never have happened (because many short sales do not make it to closing) had it not been that the owner is a real estate agent that specializes in short sales.
