Top of the World Tucson -Catalina Foothills Tuscany-style Home Sells as a Short Sale
December 20, 2011 by Donna Anderson.
In the sign of the recent times, 4847 E Palais Place sold today for 1.4 million. Bad timing insured this over 7K square foot home that was once listed at $4,450,000 and was the Tucson Museum of Art Designer Showcase Home was just not going to sell at this high price, even in the day. It had a limited audience because it has multiple stories and is reached by going up many stairs or by taking an elevator. The views are magnificent but in a city where the most coveted homes do not have many stairs, it was always a poor bet to sell as one of the most expensive homes in Tucson. So eventually, and after being on the market for 6 + years, it sold as a short sale. Another sad story but a great deal for the buyers!!
(This home was listed and sold by Andy Courtney Properties, Ltd.)
