Tucson Luxury Home at Alta Vista Sells for 925K

A new Contemporary, 4,200 square foot home sited on 1/4 acre at 6520 N Calle De La Lluvia sold for 925K after being on the market for 10 months after coming on the market originally for 989K.
New homes in the Catalina Foothills are rare, as is having one that sells for 925K sited on a little less than a quarter acre is.Most homes selling at this price have larger homesites. With a large home sited on it, there is very little room left for the house and the pool. Alta Vista is ungated and located very close to Ventana Canyon.

The photos certainly were not the drop- dead gorgeous photos of a house that anyone would pay close to 3 million for, even in the day. Having only a two car garage in the higher price range, had to hurt the sale as well. After being on the market for almost 4 years, a lucky buyer came along and snagged a great deal!

Although it was built almost 20 years ago, some of the best Catalina Foothills lots could be found at that time. Finesterra is a very exclusive, gated community next to Ventana Canyon. This smart buyer got a great deal!

The Tucson Luxury Homes Inventory is mighty sparse for homes priced below 1 million. For homes priced over a million there are a lot of choices.
Only time will tell if this low supply will bring up prices in 2012.
