Through the end of October this year, the Catalina Foothills homes sales have gone us 22.3%, however, prices really have been quite steady with little appreciation. Pima Canyon has really been the darling of the high-end luxury market with the most sales for homes priced over 800K. It is no surprise that many luxury buyers seek a home in Pima Canyon: prices are way down, the community has a 24 hour, manned gate; the location is fabulous–minutes from La Enchantada; much of the streets are very naviagable–with large roads, many somewhat flat unlike Ventana Canyon where treversing in the Mountain Estates is notĀ for everyone and certainly not for the older buyer; homes are newer with all the construction pretty much after 2002; the architectural styles are very varied–so there is a house for every one; the site is magnificent with views of the high Catalinas in back and the multiple local mountain ranges all the way to Mexico, with city light views in the front..
