It was not such a hot year for high-end luxury homes in the Catalina Foothills: Click on the link to see them~ 33 Foothills Luxury Home Sales . In 2012 the Catalina Foothills had 50 homes that sold for 1 million and over; this number decreased to 33 in 2013.  There was a dramatic decrease the second half of the the year. Some have reasoned this happened due to higher morgtage interest rates, having  government job furloughs, and job cuts in the government sector and for those contractors who work on government contracts.

Once again Pima Canyon sold the bulk of the sales with 11 sales, followed by Finesterra with 4 and Cobblestone with 3.
