6030 E Finisterra sold for 850K after being on the market for over a year and a half. This over 5,100 square foot Contemporary is 24 years old and is sited on just over an acre. Long Realty marketed this home in gated Finisterra which located high up in a most coveted area of the Catalina Foothills adjacent to Alta Vista and Ventana Canyon.
It took Long Realty about three and one-half years to sell 6180 N Whaleback Place at 1.3 million.
This 5,186 square foot home is sited on over a half acre in exclusive Ventana Canyon. Perhaps it took so long to sell because it is very contemporary and not to the taste of many potential buyers. The Catalina Mountain views are outstanding.

Catalina Foothills sales of homes priced 500K -750K shows an 25% increase in the number of sales during the time period January 1st – September 9th this year versus the same time period last year. This year there have been 173 home sales versus last year when there were only 138.

The Catalina Foothills has seen 37 home sales priced between 750K – 1 million so far this year. That is 11 less than the same period last year when we saw 49 home sales in this price- range for the same time period.

So far this year the Catalina Foothills has seen 36 home sales that have sold over 1 million. Last year at the same time there were 37 sales over a million. Not much has changed except last year there were three that sold for 2 million or over; this year there was only one that sold for 2 million.
