Listed by Long Realty and sold by Keller Williams of Southern Arizona, this 21 year old Santa Fe, 5,559 square foot home sited on an acre has a 4 car garage and has a beautiful setting nestled in the high Catalina Foothills.
6361 N Placita Derrunbadera is another Contemporary that sold quickly in the ungated community of Alta Vista for 1.1 million off a List Price of almost 1.3 million ($1,295,000); not sure why the Seller settled for so much less with it was only listed 3 weeks by Long Realty. This is unusual but as the high selling season for luxury homes comes to an end in the Foothills (winter is the best season to sell), maybe these Sellers wanted to move on when sometimes your best offer is the first one.
This very contemporary home boasts almost 3,900 square feet and is sited on 1.17 acres.

6601 N Altos Segundo sold for full price at $1,090,000 in only 10 days; it last sold for 1.2 million 10 years ago. It has almost 4,500 square feet and is sited on 1.2 acres in an ungated area of the Catalina Foothills. Some nice features are two – two car garages and solar panels. Long Realty sold this 10 year old home.
6430 N Miramist, marketed by Long Realty, sold today after being on the market over 10 months for 875K (List Price was 949K). This over 4,100 square foot home, sited on a little less than an acre, last sold in 2003 for 930K.
This is quite disappointing that after 12 years this beautiful home with spectacular views of the Santa Catalinas sold this low. This is another indication of how challenging the real estate market is for Sellers in the luxury market. It is great for Buyers though, with much inventory and low interest rates.
Gated Miramist is a small enclave of luxury homes across the street and up a small distance from the main entrance to Ventana Canyon.
I guess it was probably a foregone conclusion that 2203 E Quiet Canyonwould sell close to full price–it was listed at $999,900 and sold for 975K. It had sold in 2006 near the peak of the market for 1.3milion and the Sellers added some very nice upgrades. It was on the market for less than two weeks and had at least three interested parties.It ended up selling for Cash and was listed by Long Realty.
This Santa Fe was the builder’s original residence–it has almost 3,900 square feet and is sited on an acre with high Santa Catalina Mountain views. It is decorated beautifully and is in excellent condition. The exterior spoke volumes–“Why leave when you can vacation at home”.
Pima Canyon has been one of the most sought after communities in Pima County due to its newness, its proximity to the epicenter Foothills amenities and ts closeness to the I-10 so one can utilize both Phoenix and Tucson airports for travel. Additionally it has a 24 hour guarded gate and does not have all the traffic the resort communities have with their golf courses, restaurants, etc.
